PART  3  EXECUTION

3.01 EXAMINATION
A. Verify that substrate conditions are complete and acceptable for the installation of Patient Care units.
B. Verify that plumbing and electrical work is acceptable for fixture installation.
3.02 INSTALLATION
A. Comply with manufacturer’s written instructions for installation of fixtures and accessories.
B. Anchor support brackets and frames to construction using anchors suitable for supporting substrate.
C. Provide plumbing and electrical connections necessary for a completed installation.
3.03 ADJUSTING
A. Adjust fixtures for proper water flow and water temperature.
B. Repair minor damage to installed products; remove and replace work that cannot be satisfactorily repaired.
3.04 CLEANING
A. Clean exposed surfaces using non-abrasive materials and methods recommended by manufacturer.
B. Remove packaging and construction debris and legally dispose off site.
3.05 PROTECTION
A. Protect installed product and finish surfaces from damage during construction activities.
3.06 SCHEDULE
(Where multiple units are specified, it might be best to give them a "mark" and create a schedule).
